Dear Friends of Earth & Soul,
"God is the essence of all life. ‘We are not simply made by God, we are made ofGod,’ says Julian of Norwich. Deep within us and the body of Earth, therefore, is the wisdom of the divine, deeper than any ignorance of what we have done. Deep within us is the creativity of God, deeper than any barrennesses in our lives or world. And deep within us and the natural world are the healing energies of the divine and the ability to come back into true relationship with the source of well-being deep in all things.” (John Philip Newell, The Great Search)
Let us reawaken to the divine wisdom deep within us and in the body of Earth. Take time to pause with your hand on your heart and listen within your own soul, and take time to find a place outside or by a window to listen to the wisdom of Earth. Speak the words to yourself or to Earth, “I am here and I am listening,” as you would speak to your beloved. We are all being called back into true relationship.

May the deep blessings of Earth be with us.
May the fathomless soundings of seas surge in our soul.
May boundless stretches of the universe echo in our depths
to open us to wonder
to strengthen us for love

Coming together in community is a gift we can share with one another. You are invited to join one of the online Earth & Soul events this November. On November 13, an evening retreat of spiritual practice and prayer, led by Cami Twilling, will focus on the wisdom of Pelagius and the ways in which we are invited to live from the depths of our soul so that we may see and know our own sacredness as well as the sacredness of Earth and all her beings. Additionally, Celtic Wisdom 1 is being offered November 15-16, co-led by Cami Twilling and colleague teacher Catherine Gregg.
